The Cornerstone of Success

Hello Champion:

We have all heard the voices.

“You can’t do it”

“You better have a back-up plan”

“That seems like an unrealistic goal”

Ultimately, those who are not working towards a goal are quick to doubt the ability of their peers. So it is crucial to never lose one thing inside of yourself when chasing a goal. Belief.

If you do not believe in yourself, then the people around you will adopt the same thought process.

Research shows that the power of self-belief will help carry you towards your goals when paired with hard work and discipline

Any journey will be filled with obstacles that may be discouraging, but it is important to stay faithful to your work ethic.

What seems like an unconquerable mountain is a manageable path to greatness for those who put in the work. Next time doubt starts to creep in, remember the below quote:

“My success isn’t the result of arrogance, it’s the result of belief.” – Conor McGregor

Here are some ways to build belief in yourself

  1. Practice what you preach – Practice and good habits result in greater confidence.

  2. Visualize – Visualization is a great tool for your mind. Picture yourself succeeding prior to the situation occurring.

  3. Get comfortable being uncomfortable – Place yourself in situations where you are challenged.

Let’s be honest. We all have stepped on the field, and assumed the underdog role. However, no matter the gap in experience or talent, you must believe you have a fighting chance.

Remember, the only person who needs to believe in you is yourself!
